Studio Policies & Rules
Attendance: Weekly attendance is mandatory, and students are expected to arrive on time in proper dance attire. However, in case of illness, make-up classes are available when scheduled in advance. To schedule a makeup class, you must call the studio. All make-up classes must be taken within a month of the missed class, and if you do not schedule your make-up class within the month, your class will expire. All missed classes must be paid for whether you decide to take a make-up class or not.
Payments: All classes must be paid for monthly and in person via cash or check following our payment schedule (sent via email). ** A late fee per child will be applied to monthly tuition payments if your payment is made after the monthly deadline (sent via email).**
Dress Code: All students are required to follow the dress code. Following the dress code is important to ensure student safety. Hair must be up (please make sure you child arrives with their hair up), and all dangling jewelry must be taken off. Street clothes such as jeans and crop tops are not permitted. Students who continuously fail to follow the dress code may be asked to sit out of class (you will not receive a refund). Studio Rules/ Etiquette: Students are expected to arrive to class on time. No food is permitted in the waiting room or dance studio. Students may bring water only; sports drinks are strictly prohibited. If your child would like to purchase water at the studio it is $1/bottle. Students are not allowed to chew gum or use their cell phones during class. Parents/ caregivers/ siblings are not allowed in the dance studio while class is in session; they may wait in the waiting room. Strollers are not permitted in the dance studio. We expect students to always respect and be kind to their teachers and classmates. Students who continuously fail to follow the studio rules will be asked to sit out of class (you will not receive a refund).
Dance Recital Policy: All students participating in our annual recital are required to attend a mandatory dress rehearsal (date to be determined in May or June). All dance costumes are final sale and non-refundable.
